have you seen our defense? he has a good reason to be concerned, making the idea that we are going to run away with the game even more mind boggling.

For those who think Ray is NFL bound at the end of the season you might want to note how many of SDSU's long runs started by going around his end. He still has serious issues with containment, just like last year.

The "it was a broken play" excuse on that first play TD run is one of the most horrendous excuses ever, and it's not like the ball skipped off a defenders helmet and into the WR's hands. That excuse is like saying "they didn't do what we expected, so we weren't ready", you would hope the coaching staff doesn't buy those kind of ridiculous excuses.

What runs? After the 75 yarder they only had 2 runs over 6 yards.

I got no problem saying the defense blew it on that broken play. But if you are going to say that, you have to acknowledge that after that run the defense pretty much stifled a team that was known for their running game. I think the defense would have faired even better if their starting QB wasn't knocked out of the game. They clearly changed their play calling with the new QB and thankfully we were opportunistic at times.

But you don't say it, you don't say it on live television.
