If you're gonna run a hi powered offense(or attempt to), part of that should be taking advantage of easily getting a few yards when you need them, when on your end of the field.

It's clear Pinkel would be much more comfortable running a Big 10 or bama, 3 yards at a time style offense, another thing evidenced by his "being scared of running away with it too fast" comment. A lot of defense and a slow, steady offense, in low scoring games is his comfort zone. He hasn't adjusted his mindset to the type of team he trys to build, at least on one side of the ball.

Mauks game is largely the opposite of what Pinkel wants to do, scoring quickly seems to upset GP who just wants to move very slow and steady while grinding down the clock.

If Maty keeps throwing the ball deep and scoring early, we might see Printz but not in the capacity we were expecting.
