I agree with this. That said, it really depends on how the other teams in the rankings look as well. If they stay in, they should be 22-25 range. If out, then in 25-30 range. I'm sure USC will eventually work their way back in the rankings, but at this point, they need to just do that - work their way back in and earn the ranking. And that really goes for all teams following Week 1's preseason rankings.

If you're going to lose 1 game in a season, the 1st week is to do it. There is a huge bias for loses at the end of the season.
