To add to scrooster's point we've had a history of having to battle Clemson in the state house, this goes back as far as Clemson's founding and Ben Tillman.

Clemson sucks. I hate them for you, USC fans.
My dad went to Presbyterian College in Clinton after growing up in the Rock Hill area. Ancestors fought at Cowpens. My dad was South Carolinian to the core, met a little girl from Alabama at PC in the 70s though.
He told me this story and says there are many more stories like it, without as many zeros. Says that Clemson holds its own in the State House.
