The Texas–Texas A&M football rivalry was an American college football rivalry between the Texas Longhorns football team of the University of Texas and Texas A&M Aggies football team of Texas A&M University. Texas leads the series 76–37–5. The rivalry was played every year between 1915 and 2011, until Texas A&M left the Big 12 Conference to join the Southeastern Conference.

Why is Texas scared of Aggie?? They pretty much owned that arse?

They are scared because we aren't "aggy" any more. Our businessmen outsmarted their businessmen and our coaching staff kicked their beloved Mack to the curb and stole the talent in state and cherry picked nationally.

Without wars, unlimited scholarships and university mandatory rules of A&M that are no longer in effect, they can't win at that clip rate.

And they know it.

I never cease to be amazed by the patent stupidity of this type comment.

Fifty years ago and for a solid century before that time, Detroit eclipsed Houston and Dallas in almost every way.

Is anyone (other than perhaps a barely-literate Cajun) dumb enough to actually use that fact to argue that a dying Rustbelt armpit like Detroit is actually superior (TODAY) to two of the most-dynamic cities in the nation?

The overall series record is an interesting historical footnote. It has ZERO relevance in comparing the two schools today.
