Two great McReady stories.

Neal wrote a troll column in 2006 right before he left the Mobile Register the title of which was something like "Bama has been passed" and it was how Bama was this forlorn power that was nothing anymore and how they were dreaming if they thought they could get a coach like Nick Saban on and on. Well, of course, we know what happened in 2009 and it led to a bunch of Bama fans tweeting Neal just the word "passed". He got his panties in a wad.

Second story. Last year during the Ole Miss game there was a targeting penalty against Bama and it was over turned and Neal, of course, tweets "typical Bama favoritism". Well, Neal calls into WNSP in Mobile (his old station) occasionally to talk Ole Miss and a caller called and asked him about the targeting penalty being the result of favoritism and if he really believed it. Neal, said something like "yes I believe it" and the caller said "then why did they throw the flag in the first place?" Neal hemmed and hawed and wouldn't answer and kept talking about Alabama favoritism and the caller said "Got it, why did they throw the flag in the first place?" and he was hung up on.

Sorry for Toslstoy tl I know

Neal keeps it real. I appreciate his commentary. He is not a fanboy like most.

Bama fans, chill out.
