Yes. If all is out in the open, most people will seek treatment if ever hung on a substance. There is really zero logical argument for prohibition. We already know drug use has continued to rise despite it, jails are full because of it (non-violent drug offenders), and other countries have decriminalized and have had strikingly positive outcomes.

It boils down to the good ol' no knock raids, where police across the country are able to plug their asses with a copy of the constitution, blow it out their arse as they invade a home and climax as they slam unsuspecting "drug offenders" on the ground in a way to mimic their anger for why they're caught in their current circumstances.

Treat all drug use as alcohol. That shite has killed countless people from my family. The black market is no place to conduct business, and the whole argument of a less safe society with legalization is asinine considering drug cartels run shite and peddle it on back allies.

ETA: And prohibition has led to the likes of Meth. Good shite, amiright? So much better than the alternative.

Yep, look what happened the first time we tried prohibition. At least they learned their lesson a bit sooner.
