State of Alabama SEC championships in the last 10 years = 5

Number of SEC east SEC championships in the last 10 years = 3

State of Alabama >>> The SEC East

Alabama and LSU only have one more SEC title combined than Florida does on its own since we started playing title games- once Florida gets another coach the balance will at worst be brought to a 50/50 if not shifting to the East. Florida being coached by Muschamp hurts as they have more SEC titles in the championship era than every other East time combined.

Crazy to think Auburn is 3 of those and Bama only 2
