Mitch has been doing really well at fall camp. He's locked in as the #2 QB. Nosovitch struggled with accuracy at practice, they tried him at TE and some of the other positions. It didn't work out, so he decided tonight to transfer. No word yet on where he's going.

Hate to hear this, but Noso has struggled mightily with his passing technique and decision-making, and after this off-season's voluntary period, he didn't look like he improved much from the end of last season. At the same time, Mitch has improved noticeably in most areas. Hope nothing but the best for Brendan, and hope he finds a better fit elsewhere...

Hope he does well wherever he lands, unless its Clemson or an SEC East school of course

I really thought he'd be able to compete and maybe contribute some this year.

Well, just look at Wisconsin and Tanner. I think wherever he lands, he will find success.

Are there any barriers in place for where he can transfer to? Ie. Out right blocking him from transferring to a rival like Clemson?

Best of luck to Noso.

It sucks that he wasn't able to turn the light on and lock up a position here, and I really wish him the best of luck wherever he lands. I was exited when he chose us out of Pen. He had such a great highlight real and put up sick numbers. But it just never clicked here for some reason. I did think it would be awesome to put him in the Wild Cock instead of Cooper sometimes this year, though.

Without him we now have zero dual threat QBs on the roster (unless you throw Shaq Davidson or one of the other HS QBs in there... which would not be a great idea) until Nunez next year. If we get a rash of injuries on the line or face a team that is getting steady pressure we are going to be hard pressed with just pocket passers lumbering around in the backfield.
