Instead of "I think you're wrong and we disagree, let's figure out a solution" things have become "I think you're wrong and we disagree, you're out of touch with society and harbor evil thoughts. Just wait until the media hears of this."

That's why it's important that we stand up for what is right. These people have the nerve to pretend that they speak for the majority when the exact opposite is the case. They are counting on us to give up.
