it wasn't methadone. but ya that is supposed to be ridiculously hard to come off of.

Suboxone withdrawals are not as intense, but the half life is just so much longer that they can last forever. But if you work down a schedule to taper down with your doctor it isn't that bad. My friend said about a week with low energy and three days or so in the middle where his stomach felt weird and he had some minor aches.

Thats true of quite a few mental health related drugs. they taper you onto them then taper you off at the end. abrupt stoppage or starting causes problems.
