Look, home field effects maybe 2-5 plays a game, max. So if two teams are dead even, it will matter. But if the away team is better, it usually wont matter. I know you are trolling slightly, because I have seen you have a brain in other threads. But i think some of the other Bama fans in here are just droolers that cant comprehend anything unless followed by a rahhhhllll tyyyde

I'm actually just getting WAY too invested in this because it's a pet peeve and a slow day at work

Yep.

I can't remember exactly which game this was. It might have been like West Virginia or something. But the opening drive we get the ball, get like one first down and punt it down inside their 15. Their offense comes out and the crowd is going nuts. Their LT jumps offside. Line up for the next play, their LT jumps offside again. Line up again, their LT blows his assignment and their QB gets sacked in the endzone for a safety. Crowd goes bonkers. Offense comes back out jacked as frick and goes right down the field and scores.

I'm not going to say the crowd gets credit for all 9 of those points, but to say the crowd didn't have anything to do with it at all is just asinine.
