If the university is trying to create a mascot to get rid of race issues, why would they choose ANYTHING with the word BLACK in it. I think that was a horrible PR move by OM. Plus some of my freinds who go to school there say Colonel Reb was biased off a black man.

And I'm still waiting on a reason why Colonel Reb is racist. Did he write something racist? Did he take a racist picture? The mascot wore a jersey, shorts, and hat for crying out loud.
