No program would fire him, save maybe Alabama because they're just crazy enough. He's a dream come true for any University President, he does enough for ADs and shows promise for big boosters. His biggest knock is that he's in a conference with the likes of Saban, Spurrier, and - at one time - Meyer. He isn't that same personality and that is held against him despite his record.

That multiple coaches at multiple schools have come into the league since him and won NC's, with two of those schools being rivals
