No program would fire him, save maybe Alabama because they're just crazy enough. He's a dream come true for any University President, he does enough for ADs and shows promise for big boosters. His biggest knock is that he's in a conference with the likes of Saban, Spurrier, and - at one time - Meyer. He isn't that same personality and that is held against him despite his record.

Somewhere in the midst of Saban winning his 3rd NC. Richt has no in state competition. I couldn't see Auburn fans being content to play second fiddle even if it's with double digit win seasons
