We offered a new '16 RB today, 3* Tre Harbison

https://www.hudl.com/athlete/1735349/highlights/219579376/v2

His Jr Highlight reel is 18 minutes. Here are some things I noticed from the reel.
His OL is good, they had size and speed for a HS OL, it's no wonder why they won State in NC last year.
He's a legit 4.5-ish range 40. His acceleration is good, but he hesitates behind the OL often to develop holes/running lanes. He cuts pretty well and has good acceleration. He's strong. He runs the wildcat a lot, he even threw a TD pass. He was a decent blocker, but I wouldn't put him as tenacious in it. I thought he had really good vision and anticipation on how the lanes were going to develop downfield.

A couple areas he could work on: he favors carrying in his right hand a lot, even when he's running leftside. He loves to stiffarm, and he only has 1 hand on the ball when he hits the line of scrimmage. He needs to get two hands on the ball before contact and during it. At the next level, those guys will be stripping the ball from him like crazy if he doesn't fix that. It really was almost the whole time, he just holds the ball in his right arm and swings his left arm to try to disengage blockers. There were several blocks that I felt like he could've done more, he got his 1st guy on the ground and stopped, he didn't follow the ball or go on to the next guy he could block.

The stuff he needs to work on are easy coachable fixes, I think he has a lot of talent, he has over a dozen offers. I think it was a good move to offer him. I'd like to see his Sr highlights to see how he improved.

We wiped out clemson's lead for '16 4* OG https://247sports.com/Player/John-Simpson-75843 with his visit yesterday. We're now in the lead group. He grew up a SC fan. He got a lot of 1on1 time with the coaches yesterday. SC leads in CB projections.

The nation's #1 Overall Recruit,5* DT https://247sports.com/Player/Rashan-Gary-31787 was on campus yesterday to visit and watch practice. Sources are indicating that we moved up his board and the visit went really well. He has family in the area.

4* RB Elijah Holyfield, son of Evander Holyfield, is on campus today.
