I had my first one in October 2012. I literally thought a wolverine with razor blades taped to his claws was tearing its may out if my right flank. I had no idea what it was. All I knew is I couldn't breath and I grunted. I drove myself to the ER of the hospital I work at and the second I walked in the ER doc who I know very well said "You've got a kidney stone bud!" I was relieved that it wasn't dick cancer or aliens coming out of my testicles or any other possibility I thought of on that 7 minute drive. It was that night I realized Dilaudid is very over rated but God sent an Angel to Earth to create Toradol.
