Same for SC ... but add some Dutch in there as well. Especially in the midlands along with the Germans ... that's why we are a Lutheran state. Scotch-Irish upstate, Germans and Anglo-Saxons along the coast.

SC was a British settlement so our roots are English. NC was Scots Irish, which is why the Carolinas split. King Geo favored Charleston over Albermarle.
