I had rotator cuff & labrum surgery together..it turned out to be a good experience (my arm was really fcked up).., hopefully you had the type of shoulder surgery with 3 small incisions and the use of cameras and long tools and drills & not the type of shoulder surgery where they lay your shoulder wide open and operate... afterwards doc told me it was gonna hurt like a mfcker and to sleep in a recliner and he gave me a high tech sling with a buncha straps and cushions to secure my arm close to my body and in a comfortable position.. when I got home after the surgery I was able to cut our grass with one arm with a self propelled lawn mower,, the anesthesia block had not worn off yet.. The first two nights in the chair were ruff but they gave me some pain medication and it helped ..physical therapy was fun because for the first six weeks all I did was lay there while an attractive therapist stretched my arm and held it between her breasts for an hour.. the 2nd six weeks I had to do a buncha goofy exercises but my shoulder started to feel like a champ and it was all good .
They told me the hardest part would be the therapy.. stick with it.

Yea they just made three cuts on my shoulder. Hopefully it all goes smooth with the PT because I want to go back to the gym.
