UF has a huge Alumni base in Chicago.

It's not just that - they're more of a known quantity, and a lot more people in the Midwest and Northeast who have relatives or friends whose kids went to UF than elsewhere in the SEC.

I'm in management consulting here, and for the most part it's what you'd expect (Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Vanderbilt, some Ivies, Illinois, some randoms like Cal and Texas), but I have run across some UF grads in the field here, including a pretty good friend of mine. Have yet to run across grads of anywhere else besides Vandy.
