Stop it. Let's be intellectually honest. Just like people who go to Ole Miss or anywhere else, people who go to MSU get a good education if they apply themselves. The fact that MSU offers some majors that focus on agriculture doesn't make it a "hick, redneck" school.

They do really try to embrace the "we're the salt of the earth," yeoman farmer image... But yeah I get your point, kids from the suburbs of Jackson and Memphis who go to State aren't really that different than their neighbors who went to Ole Miss.
