I like Columbia.
The downtown has nice bars/restaurants to enjoy pregame festivities. My issue is that you then have to get to the stadium. The real option is to wait on those buses. Then, when you get to the stadium area there are no real places to grab an appetizer or drink before the game (plus get some relief from the heat).
Why aren't there more commercial establishments around the stadium? I realize that there are only 6 or 7 games a year but there are a lot of apartments in the area to support establishments.
