Who was the UF DB that housed it?
Gus Scott
Ill never forget that game. Grossman was 34 of 46 in passing completions. About 25 of those were slip/bubble screens. Georgia could just not stop that play that day.

quote:what? Saban is a much better coach at Bama than he was at LSU. People don't realize how much strides he took and what the NFL experience did for him.
Which just goes to show you how much better of a program Alabama is than LSU. At LSU, when Saban had a bad game, he'd get blown the eff out. At Alabama, when Saban has a bad game, he loses on a fluke return for a touchdown.

Auburn's coaches for that year:
Head Coach: Tommy Tuberville
Offensive Cord: Bobby Petrino
Defensive Cord: Gene Chizik

2002 and 2008 were pretty much the worst seasons for LSU that decade.
Losing to Auburn 31-7 and Alabama 31-0 was not pleasant, even before adding the Arkansas loss to those.

If we had taken care of business in Jacksonville we probably would have played Miami for the national title
If your WR would have gotten called for the offensive pass interference in the back of the endzone, you'd had another loss and AU would've played for the SECC that year.

The story of Georgia. How many different years and scenarios can you say this about. Seems like I see a similar post from a Georgia fan in just about every thread. Different year, same story. You guys are bound to win one soon. Law of averages.
