We handled Auburn better than Alabama did.

As an unbiased observer, this is an inaccurate statement. Two freak plays occured in those two games. And that was easily the best Oregon team in your history.

Whoever said Mariotta isn't special or good is not paying attention. That man will rewrite records and is probably best QB in country right now.

Winston should be 1A in argument. But I would rather have Mariotta.

That was not our best team in our history. Talent wise, our best team was 2012. Kyle Long towards the end of the year really solidified that OL. It just happened that we couldn't overcome our offensive struggles against Stanford like we did @Cal '10.

as an admittedly biased observer (lol), i still agree. before cam's untimely fumble, oregon was stuck at 11 points & auburn was chewing up the clock with success....when oregon responded on the fumble, auburn promptly answered back.

after the game, one of oregon's own sportswriters (forgot who, sorry) stated "if auburn needed to score more than 22 points to win, they would've"....
