2008 - They couldn't hold Tebow down/
2009 - They did, but UF had a bunch of other issues in 09, and was nowhere near as good as 08 UF (which many Bama fans just happen to "forget")
2010 - Cam? LOL.
2011 - No great QBs that they faced really.
2012 - No. Manziel beat them.
2013 - No. They won, but Manziel absolutely destroyed them. And then Auburn beat them. To cap it off, Knight went crazy on that D in teh Sugar Bowl.

So for the majority? Bama has not had success vs that "caliber" of offense.

You forgot Utah 2008. Urban Myer's legacy on Utah.

When you really think about, Alabama generally has not been that successful at stopping the spread offenses ran at a high level. Saban has only stopped it once at Alabama. Even if you consider these flukes, Nick Saban defensive numbers versus other types of offenses are way better.

That doesn't mean Alabama can't beat Oregon ;however, it means really good spread offensives will put 21 points on Alabama. Can you say that about any other offense that Bama has faced? Nope
