It is laughable that you are trying to make a big deal of this. An assistant Alabama strength coach gave Ha Ha Clinton Dix 500 dollars. Auburn put Rashan Evans bio up on their website. Only an Alabama moron like you would think what Auburn did was worse

The difference is AU would have made some excuse for the $500. he found it on the corner or something.

While you are correct that the Clinton Dix violation is far more serious than the Evans one I think the point the OP is making is the potential dishonesty (if dishonesty is in fact an issue) of Auburn in making a lame excuse for the minor violation looks bad. Juxtapose that with how honest Alabama was with pointing out and coming clean on the more serious Clinton Dix violation and you can clearly see which athletic department owns up to its mistakes and which one doesn't.
