Yes, he's jealous. He thinks because he's older, been coaching longer, he should be considered the best coach out there, but exactly what has he done in the last 10 years? He went to the SEC championship game 1 time, and that was because the East was so far down....and Auburn made it look like they should have saved their money and stayed home.
He really didn't do that much at Florida, and that was during a time when he was getting a lot of good players. I'm not saying that he is lazy by any means, but he doesn't want to work the long hours that Coach Saban does, so he makes fun of him for doing so.
What Spurrier needs to do is just take care of his own team, and not worry about what other coaches are doing, and how they do it.
