The West is really up in the air this year. As is most years, Alabama will have the most depth on both sides of the ball; however, the biggest question mark is QB and O-line. Those are possibly the most important aspects of a team.

Auburn will be good again, but it's hard to imagine they'll be on the right side of luck like last year. (Not a slight, because Auburn was a good team; just facts

LSU is always a wild card. I like their prospects on defense, but I'm really not sold on their QB/WR situation. Fournette is gonna have to run wild.

Mississippi State boasts in my opinion, the best defensive player in the country in Chris Jones. Their defense overall is stout, and I really like Prescott and Lewis on the offensive side of the ball. Unfortunately, their schedule puts them at Tuscaloosa and Baton Rouge. That alone is in all likelihood, two losses.

Ole Miss might catch lightening in a bottle. Home games with Alabama and Auburn, are much more winnable then on the road. LSU will be their only road test, and for some unspeakable reason, OM always plays LSU close, home or away.

Take the fact their east opinions are Vandy and UT, and their trip to college station doesn't include Manziel, Evans, or anyone worth mentioning on that stacked offensive line, it makes for a potential perfect storm.

I actually think we have a better shot at LSU on the road than at Ole Miss.
