Pretty similar going in to how MSU was going into 2011 -- in that all the hype hinges on an OL that can sustain no injuries.
Of course, we know in hindsight that MSU lost 2 OL starters in the Auburn game, a 3rd in the LSU game before Relf cracked a rib, and despite playing LSU, SC, and Bama well, that season wasn't far from ending in disaster for us.
IF OM stays healthy up front and at QB(with improved arm strength), and if Fahn Cooper is as advertised and ready to go on day 1, part of me believes they can absolutely compete for the west.
