Doesn't include any incoming freshmen, with exception to early-enrollers (Lamin)...
- Pretty good experience and talent at WR - both Roland and Byrd return with a combined 1,000 receiving yds and 9 tds, pretty similar to what Sanders + Ellington, and then Ellington + Byrd returned the past 2 seasons. Plus Jones had upwards of 300 yds and 5 tds himself as a solid possession receiver. Good to see both Jeffery and Brent finally rise into the 2-deep: they need to contribute this season...
- I see they moved Rodgers from his #1 RG spot in the Spring Depth Chart to #2 RT spot here. I was surprised to begin with with all these OT prospects we brought in, and then Coach Elliott moving them all to OG positions. It made us a little thin in the tackle depth as a result. Both incoming OL Stanley and Young are OGs...
- I guess Garrison Gist is 4th at FB...

Both Stadnicks need to gain weight.
Some of those DTs are going to slide out to DE if we are using a 3-4 scheme
Dukes and Dixon JR. both at 323lbs is impressive. That's big enough to be the nose tackle in a 3-4
We really really really need Green and Lammons to qualify
If Brison Williams is playing CB I'd rather TJ Gurley slide over to SS.
Elder is gonna be a beast at FS

I agree about Gurley...although Marcus has 7 starts under his belt and is very experienced, he's also dealt with injuries and IMO isn't as violent a tackler nor as athletic as Gurley. But IMO we should be fine with either at the spot in William's stead. But yeah it'd be great to get all our best athletes on the field at the same time as we possibly can, and Elder I also agree with is a stud in the making.
Finding a way to have Williams, Elder, and Gurley on the field at the same time would be awesome...

Looking at this got me pumped!
Can't wait to see Cooper with a major role on O. Defense looks strong again, not as worried about the secondary as some others maybe are. Rico is going to be awesome.
I'm kind of surprised Byrd isn't a sure starter. What's the word on his injury? Also what's the word on Busta Anderson? He'll be ready to go week one?

Both Byrd and Anderson should be fine to go for the start of fall camp....

Deserves it. Easily one of my favorite players.

Why do we have our punters holding on FGs? That should be a spot for Noso or someone who could add a wrinkle on fakes. I don't even trust them to punt, no way do I trust them to get a first down.

I agree with this. I guess the fear is that the snap is botched and they're hoping that the punter can get at least a pooch punt off during a horrible missed snap. However, I bet Nos can punt just as far as Hull in that type of emergency, 1 step, bad situation.
