...so the past does or doesn't matter? I'm so confused.
I merely made a statement as to why there was a "maybe" beside Carolina. The other 4 teams have all been closer in the past 3 years to winning a national title than USCe has in the program's entire history.
Is that really that difficult to comprehend?

It's stupid reasoning. Just because it hasn't happened before doesn't mean it can't. Otherwise, no team would ever do anything different.
