I just think it's naive to think the vast majority of all athletes aren't smoking occasionally, or others aren't gonna be stumbling out of a bar later tonight. It's easy to sit back as an older guy who's further along in life with a broader perspective to sit back and tell a 21 year old to grow up when I was doing the same thing. There are certain things of concern to me...this isn't one. JMO though.

I agree, I didn't even click the link. But it sounds like he wasn't being a dumbass like Mincy was while high, you'd like to see better judgement from your quarterback though.

Grass was easily available when I was in high school in the 70's. Trust me... I know.

But when I went to Auburn, I got an NROTC scholarship and I understood what my responsibilities were to keep that scholarship and to my country (since they were paying for my education and I was going into the service).

Please don't try to rationalize that putting away the weed is a difficult thing to do... it's not.
