Mass Communications, Internal Auditing, AgriBusiness, Music&Dramatic Arts, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Veterinary Medicine, Entrepreneurial Studies, MBA Program, Coastal Science, Hurricane Engineering, etc.
LSU is one of the top 30 public research universities and is designated as such by the Carnegie Research Foundation.
The LSU Pennington Biomedical Research Institute is one of the leading research facilities on this planet.
LSU is among the best for 'return on investment' according to starting, mid-career and senior salary levels of alumni.
LSU has raised admission standards and had higher test score requirments annually in the last decade.
The prestigious Paul M. Hebert LSU Law School is one of the more diffuclt to be accepted into, LSU Medical School is building a huge new state-of-the-art complex in downtown NOLA.

Uhhh... I'm not a rankings slave by any means but you do know Arkansas is consistently ranked ahead of LSU in overall academics, right?
Once you get into specific programs, especially graduate, it'll fluctuate widely but still... out of his mind?

Forbes agrees with me. I can go off and list Arkansas strong suits.
Arkansas has the #11 Architecture Program in the United States. It has also been rated one of the Top 10 Schools in the United States 'to watch'. It is expanding rapidly and improving faster than any other SEC school. We have top ranked programs just like every school.
Don't make LSU out to be special just because you have a few good programs. Every school has good programs, it's the overall picture.
