It's pretty cut and dry.
If you can't run the football into the endzone, you can't win the big games.
UGA won the Eastern Division in 2011. But we couldn't run the football. And we sucked balls because of it. We lost every big game on the schedule.
The next time you fail to convert points on a 1st and goal, don't say that I didn't tell you so when you earn the L on your record.
2013:
SEC 3rd down conversions:
USC: 6th
UGA: 9th
4th down conversions:
USC: 2nd
UGA: 6th

Mike Davis is a beast.
Too bad the thread is titled SEC East 2014 and Gurley/Marshall/Sony/Chubb will be in the backfield for UGA.
The better team will run the football better. We'll see if our OL can get us closer to our 2012 numbers.
