Yeah in actual seriousness I do go 4 days or so between. I don't tend to eat a lot, stay fit, eat all the right things, etc. It used to be on field problems for the army I'd be able to go 8 days sometimes without even feeling the need to go due to stress. I've never had the 'every day' thing since I can remember.

You've gone as long as 8 days? Dude, you're setting yourself up for bad problems later in life. Your colon needs the exercise. Please get a second opinion.

Your doctor did not do you a favor by telling you it's because of a "large colon" that you're so very far from average for crapping. Stress can certainly cause us problems with our bowels and, if that's the case with you, it's vital that you get checked out. If this has been the norm for a long time, you might even need a colonoscopy to see if any damage has been done.

I can give you this advice because I was in a similar situation. It's most certainly changeable. It'll just take a commitment on your part. Good luck.
