But does anybody have any clue what to expect from KSU this year? I've not read the first word about them.

Not specifically. But, Snyder is a heck of a coach, and as long as he's still there his teams will be dangerous. He's very, very good at taking marginal talent and getting maximum performance from them. This game is being played on a Thursday in Manhattan, ks - a complete armpit FWIW. Snyder's teams will run well, but likely not be much of a threat in the air.

Anything is possible, but Auburn's talent should allow them to win comfortably. Unless they get too cocky or take it for granted, in which case a Snyder team can bite them in the arse. I'd probably take the Tigers. If this were legal, of course.

Also, if any Auburn fans think about making the trip, here are some recommendations.

1. Fly into Kansas City. Stay in Kansas City. Do not stay in Manhattan, it's far, far worse than the worst SEC town. It's an armpit, with the fragrance of livestock everywhere. Just drive over for the game and get back to Kansas City.

2. If you drive instead of fly, still...do not stay in Manhattan. If you want to make a stop in low-rents to start a fire or something, that's recommended and encouraged.

3. Stay the whole weekend. Eat BBQ in Kansas City, it's fantastic. Hit the night life. And head 2 hours east on Saturday to check out Columbia and watch Mizzou beat up Indiana. If you drive, you'll go through Columbia anyway.

Me and the family are heading up there for the game. I know about Kansas City but anyone been to Branson before? If so, would it be worth the weekend trip since the game was moved to Thursday (can't stand that, but oh well).
