BS...always finished in the top 3 in SEC in passing efficiency.

Best yeat was '81
2nd in the NCAA and 1st in the SEC with 148.8 rating

Also was 2nd in the SEC in TD passes.

Not sure who or what you're comparing em to or
just remember his bad games but Belue was a very
goob QB while at UGA.You can only compare him to
those he played against and the era that he played.

So? That doesn't really mean squat. For starters, finishing in the top 30% isn't really all that (considering there were 10 SEC teams then). Also, it wasn't really a pass heavy league. He had the same benefit that Nick Marshall got last year. When everyone expects it to be a run play, the handful of times you pass it's gonna help you.

He threw for 1600 yards, 12 TDs, and 9 INT that year. Big whoop. How bout our national championship year? He threw for 1300 yards, 11 TDs, and 9 INTs. And less than 50% completions.
