Truck drivers risk their lives daily to deliver us the useless shite we buy, where is their praise?

Anyway, my point is that these guys aren't doing this because they're really care about the people, they do it for a paycheck...which is fine, lets just call it what it is.

And someone else mentioned it, prisons are big business these days. Our prison system is broken, we are perpetuating lifetime criminals instead of rehabilitating them and people are getting filthy rich from it.

To get a life time sentence in prison you have to be a pretty serious criminal.

Rehabilitation cannot and will not exist once a person has been deemed unfit for society. They have already been passed on by society and proven they could not exist with outhers. Habitual offenders are in the same boat. You can't help a man or woman that doesn't want help. Are there people in prison that could be saved with the help of modern medicine and therapy...sure....I'm sure it would help. But once the crimes are committed you can't just throw them back on the street and say well this 2 time murderer of her children is safe for society now that we think she is ok mentally after her post pardom depression episode ended 2 lives. That's all just hypothetical but the prison system was created to make our life safer although it's more of an in and out burger type of system where no one is rehabilitated but lots of prison systems are now trying to help rehabilitate which may or may not help. I don't think anyone who goes to prison gets out and thinks...I can't wait to relapse.
