I'm curious if Miles will have Jennings on a short leash considering all the reports that are praising Harris

The LSU 2011 team with RP at quarterback is one of the biggest "what might have beens" in SEC history. Solid at every position, and spectacular in a bunch. If the kid hadn't been a knucklehead we might be talking about that team in the same breath as '95 Huskers and '01 Canes.

They always praise the new guy. BTW, I think Jennings will do well. Go look up Darron Thomas. He is the QB that he reminds me of. He's not flashy, but he can run good enough, and sell the play action like nobody else. His first year starting (redshirt sophomore), he passed for 2881 yards (8.0 ypa) and 30 TDs to 9 ints, and ran for 486 yards (5.2 ypc) and 5 TDs. While I don't think Jennings gets anywhere near that, I do see 2600+ total yards and 20 total TDs if he plays the whole season. Hopefully the int problem was taken care of. I really still believe this kid has what it takes to be a great LSU QB.
