Why are you putting words into my mouth? You can deny it all you want to, but Saban brought in more talent than DiNardo did and then some. Sure...LSU had talented teams in 1996 and 1997, and the records reflect that, but when you compare those teams to the LSU teams of 2005-07, you can't help but laugh.

You said it yourself. Just like you said he would bring talent to South Carolina. It looks to me like Spurrier does a pretty damn good job of getting talent there himself. I don't think Spurrier gets enough credit for the job he's done there. It's not like they were some kind of traditional powerhouse like Alabama that could use their winning history as a recruiting tool. He has built USC into a yearly contender and I don't think just anybody could've done what he has done there.
