Their fans can't go a day without mentioning Harvey Updyke, saying the word "bammer", or writing out "UAT" when referring to the University of Alabama, their fans massive inferiority complex, and the fact that they only exist to compete with the University of Alabama.
Other than that, I guess college street is fun. Nice little downtown.

Things you love about Auburn University
My father, brother, and numerous other family members and friends are hardcore AU fans, so I enjoy seeing them happy. Auburn is fun to visit most of the time.

I've enjoyed every Auburn fan I've come across.

As an Alabama alumnus, I worked in Hargis Hall and Samford Hall back in the 80's. I love those buildings. They're truly beautiful.
What I don't like about The Family is the air of moral superiority they try to portray. When Auburn stops recruiting qbs who've been dismissed from other programs for theft, then they can recite that awesome Auburn Creed without everyone laughing at their hypocrisy. Paraphrasing: "I believe in honesty and truthfulness . . . I believe in obedience to the law . . . And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it." Okay.
Yes, we Alabama fans got stuck with Updyke and the teabagger, et. al, but at least we don't smugly try to show what superior human beings we are at every opportunity.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbarf.gif)
