Dammit, CMR. Not again!

Anyhoo, every team has their own way of taunting the opponent or at least finding ways to get under the skin of opponents in various ways. It's part of football. I've got no problems with a 'lil swag, especially swag that doesn't get mean spirited.

ooh, the swag between AU and UGA became mean-spirited long ago. Hell, it may have been even before the fire hoses, but it was definitely entrenched after that. At least among the fanbases. I have seen more fights at the AU-UGA games than at every other game I have attended. For the players and coaches I think it is usually just a rivalry unless certain things happen, but after 2010 game, there is a reason that Richt kept rubbing Auburn's face in their incompetence in 2011 and 2012 when he usually picks his foot up off the gas. Actually, in 2012, I don't think that UGA was necessarily trying to rub it in, Auburn was just such a shitty team that year, UGA couldn't help but score more points.

Exactly. The only reason teams do this kind of stuff is to make the other team...and their fans mad. From the looks of this thread, they have succeeded.
