So the '11 bama/LSU game wasn't meaningful? The '12 atm/bama game wasn't meaningful? 08 bama/uga? etc. etc....? That's stupid.

As I said, if you are fine with 0 SEC titles since 05 then so am I.

Why don't you try a little reading comprehension. I started that thread, and the point was to compare what UT's team/outlook was BEFORE the season, going INTO the season, to us. Specifically teh quesiton mark at quarterback.

That post really undersells the talent Tennessee had on the lines fwiw. Tennessee had two 10+ year NFL guys at DT and one at OT (all made pro bowls) and they don't even get mentions?

Who said I'm fine with it? I want to win every game we ever play. I can't push the "win title" button and make it happen though.

I don't know enough abotu UT to say how good they were or weren't. There were a few guys I saw when looking at the roster that I recognized their name that went on to great things, but just because they are ON the roster doens't mean anything as it relates to their expecations GOING INTO the 98 season. Just because a guy is an NFL star doesn't mean anything going into his freshman season in college.
