The 2013 East want the best its ever been but its in the top 1/3 1/4 in its history.

I agree with it being stronger than usual last year but overall it's been pretty down for a while with only two or maybe three teams tops competing for the east. It feels like we're are stuck in a minefield damn near every season in the west. In 2011 we had arguably our best team ever and we wind up having to play a team of our own in a rematch for the championship.

It just seems like west teams are on the same cycle. Our weak years are never real week but our teams strong years coincide with one another and it's an all out bloodbath to try to win the west if you get what I'm saying.

I can agree with that. The west is pretty solid top to bottom with the exception of a few years. Franklin made Vandy relevant in football and UK was shite. Meanwhile the west has finished with 3 strong teams for a long run. The years that Auburn was down, A&M was strong and Petrino had Arkansas playing good football. With Jackie Sherrill at MSU, you might win the game but they beat the shite out of you.

Well, thats all anyone in here is arguing. The East wasnt "down" compared to where it usually is and that was the argument.

I can admit the West has been stronger at least the top 3 teams generally for a while I think Mizzou and South Carolina would have finished in the top 3 this year in the West. I think you all tend to "over hype" the whole of your division though.
