What's happening now is a side effect of getting rid of Grantham (and TM and JHC being stupid). Do you want that guy back?

Of course not

And I agree that we may be able to mask some of the issues but we are going to be lining up with a bunch of guys that have never played a down in the SEC. That's a legitimate concern.

Attrition happens every offseason, especially when there are staff shakeups. This is magnified when the new staff has a totally different style than the previous one. The attrition is magnified further when you have shithead players.

This is the worst attrition at any one position that I can remember outside of the injuries at RB and WR last year. The problem here is this is normal at UGA and only UGA. The rest of the SEC and the rant laughs at us because their is some truth to it.

Knowing every single thing we know now, if I was given the choice of:

1)Fully stocked, fully healthy secondary with Wiggins, JHC, Matthews, etc. and Grantham, or

2)What we're facing now and Pruitt,

I'd take 2.

Sorry, I can't continue to listen to the sunshine pumping bull shite when 3 of our starters are playing for Louisville next season.

Sure, it will be ok. Just like 8-4 was ok this season.

This. We have some serious problems in the program. Everyone just forgot about them because they got handed a nice new shiny toy named Pruitt in the offseason. 8-4 again this year.

I agree that it's a concern, but the season isn't lost. Far from it.

I'm not sure if you paid attention to Saban's arrival at Bama, but there was some serious purging going on then. Coaches who come into poisonous environments tend to try to clean house. I look at our secondary as kind of a mini version of that. Neither JHC or TM were purged without cause.

I don't worry about what the rant thinks because most posters on the rant are unqualified to have an opinion on anything.

Floyd, our DB's will eventually grow up and we will have attained depth. The bad thing is, when we get that going our RB, OL, or some other position will be lacking. It's how it goes here. Get used to it.
