Alabama would not fare too well. Our unemployment would skyrocket to around 50%, there'd be riots in the streets.

And the fact that we are a net taker of federal money right now. We may be the leader of the free world in welfare and disability.
How would we replace that money?
I mean really--Alabama as a state is a loser.
