so basically the same as they were the year before? where is the great decline that was predicted?

Great decline? I said they would struggle with above average Ds. How'd they look against VT, Miss St, and OU? You don't need stats to know they looked atrocious. They got the best of LSU, but a few teams did that last year. Those are the 4 top 20 Ds they faced.

Yet it is OK for you to use the 2012vs2013 metric in your next point

Not sure if you're serious with this statement.

You predicted a down year due to offensive woes, you were 100% wrong.

I predicted the offense wouldn't be world beaters like the majority of Bama fans on this board thought. And they weren't. They barely finished in the top half of the conference in total offense. Are you suggesting that the O's inability to run the ball down the opposition's throat when needed or to protect the passer effectively when needed didn't directly contribute to the last two losses?

it was very obvious that Bama did not falter due to a much weaker offense.

Damn son, you might want to call Saban with that intel and be sure he brings Nuss back. I'm sure he wouldn't have nudged him out the door if the offense was what Saban thought it would be.

above average does not equal top 20. 120+ FBS teams

VT, Miss St

both wins

OU?

ran up and down the field on them while the Bama defense couldn't get a stop

Nuss was equally bad the previous year when Bama won the Nat'l Title.

The offense was good despite of Nuss not because of him, remember a guy named Chizik?
