Derrick Thomas was unstoppable. I've watched pro and college games of his from back in the day. At the very least, I would say him and Reggie are neck and neck.
If Reggie White is the Minister of Defense, then Derrick Thomas is most certainly the......President of Pass Rush?

I can't believe you guys are still debating who is the greatest SEC player ever. I get it because of the title to this thread, but who is the greatest is purely subjective. I didn't follow DT's college career, but I am a first hand witness to his pro career. Seen him many, many times during Chief games at Arrowhead.
Other than Len Dawson, there isn't a more revered and popular player in Chiefs history. DT changed the mindset of opposing offenses, they had to gameplan around him, and most times, it didn't work. Watching him play was a thing of beauty. His only weakness as a player was against the run, but you can say that about most pass rushers. No doubt he was one of the best of all time at his position.
When he died, it devastated KC. They showed his memorial service at Arrowhead on pretty much all the local channels. Yeah, he was that big here. I know the DT experience I had was post college, but still damn proud and glad he made it into the CFB Hall of Fame.
