Two of my fellow Alabama fans believe that Lee Roy Jordan was a better linebacker than Derrick Thomas? Give me the reasons why, please.

I don't necessarily think he was the better linebacker. Derrick Thomas could do things that Lee Roy Jordan just couldn't do athletically. Completely different eras of college football. However, for his time (according to historians - I don't have personal recollection since I'm not that old), Lee Roy Jordan was as dominant.

I honestly think it goes 1. Thomas 2. Bennett 3. Jordan. Alabama has a ridiculous number of great LBs in its history.

DT will become the 4th LB from Bama to make the College Football HOF; Lee Roy Jordan, Cornelius Bennett, Woodrow Lowe, and DT.

Texas A&M fans should remember DT from the Hurricane Bowl in 1988, 5 sacks and a recovered fumble; Bama won 30-10.
