Yeah, great job with the hope there... 
I see exactly what you're saying. The money is too good for anyone in the system to want to shake things up. They don't have to either, because on average we don't care. Either walk around in total Ignorance of the world, or beholden to beating the other guy.

I'm far more involved in the State and local politics today than I am national. It's too frustrating, my vote doesn't matter and neither does my voice. Better to focus on areas where I can actually see change.
